VELLE.LIWEN

The name is obvious.
I'm 20, and i blow my candles
every 1st july.
I enjoy a meaningful & thought provoking conversation -accompanied with a caffeine dose. Display a strong fondness towards all things purpley and, believe that honesty is really, always the best policy.

Anyways, when it comes to writing, i wish i had more coherence and flow. the lack of it means i end when i end.
like now.

So tune in, tune in.

Music Of My Heart

It takes a thought to
make a word
and takes some work
to make it work

It takes some silence
to make a sound
It takes a lost before you found

It takes you years to know love
It takes some fears to know trust
It takes a night to make it dawn
and it takes some cold
to know the sun

on chinese new year's eve

been stalling for quite awhile. the chinese new year is here, and all this week the kids at the ascension sang this really hilarious song at the top of their lungs during morning assembly. and its so stuck in my head. it goes like this:

On chinese new year's day, we dress so bright and gay.
With new clothes, new shoes, handbags too
to keep our hongbaos save.
On chinese new year's day, we all just want to say
to daddies mummies, grandpas, grandmas,
uncles, aunties and to you:

GONG XI FA CAI.

p/s, its their fav song, and if you think the lyrics is funny, wait till you see the actions and hear the tune (accompanied with piano).
i seriously hope i could feel as enthusiastic about cny as these children, but no such luck.

how i wish chinese new year could still be like what it was in the past.
